I'm rebuilding the engine and I've seen some posts saying it is not possible to rebuild the bottom end without a machine shop. Why not? I have everything apart, cleaned, cataloged in jars and boxes so it will all go back together in perfect reverse order. I bought a rebuild kit from CZP and the bearing grades are all correct. Engine had 130K miles on it....synthetic oil from day 1 and ran perfectly but I noticed a small puff of smoke from the exhaust on startup after being idle for a few hours. I has remarkably minimal wear on the moving parts....not even a piston ridge. Turns out the smoke was from valve seals. I've rebuilt many engines but this is my first time into a Z32TT. On other engines, I only had to align bore bottom ends when main caps were changed or if the block warped. All advice appreciated from this excellent community, which has helped me so much in the past. Thanks
